3.25 update: New Pilot Season, Pilot Contracts requests in clans and skins rework
The HQ has begun the 3.25 version release. Here’s what Commanders can expect in this update, along with future development plans.
Version 3.25 Highlights. Quick Overview
In this update, we started a new, second Pilot Season with a new pool of season perks. We’ve added another way to obtain Pilot Contracts, improved the season perk system, and redesigned skins for all existing ships.
Season Perk Improvements
- At the request of Commanders, we’ve removed the season perk reroll for watching ads. You can now reroll your season perk using Pilot Trophies or Celestium.
- HQ has retained two rarities of season perks. Common perks have been removed from the perk list.
- The total number of season perks in the pool has been reduced by almost half. Selected adjustments have been made to season perks:
- Shield Radius perk has been removed;
- Health of System modules perk has been removed;
- Wraith, Krigerskold, Sleipnir, Eidolon, Revenant, and Mjollnir related perks have been removed;
- Penetrating Damage for Ballistic modules perk has been removed;
- Decreasing Engine Thrust Power perk has been added;
- Mine/Rocket/Torpedo Disruption Chance for PDT perks have been added;
- Missile Explosion Radius perk has been added;
- perks that buffs various damage types have been added for the following ship classes: Galactic Carrier, Super Carrier, and Carrier;
- perks that buff various damage types have been added for Supreme and Achilles;
- same perks for certain ship classes that buffs Armor, Shields, Health of all Modules have been removed;
- ship class perks now only increase certain type of damage. A combo can be rolled: Ship Class Damage + Unique Ship Damage.
Pilot Contract Requests
- Starting October 1st, Pilot Contract requests will be available in clans. Commanders can request contracts for their desired pilot every 12 hours. Responsive clanmates will receive Clan Activity Points as a reward for sacrificing these contracts. Similar to blueprints, contracts for legendary pilots can be requested on weekends, and cooldown can be reset using Celestium.
Ship Skin Rework
- Skin pricing has been significantly simplified. Previously, unlocking some skins required spending real money. Now, skins can only be unlocked using one type of in-game currency: Credits, Celestium, or skin parts. Skins can also be obtained as rewards for in-game events, in the Elegance Galaxy, or from special offers.
- Elegance Galaxy has been improved. Commanders now receive twice as many skin fragments when exploring it. The chance of receiving a full skin has also been tripled.
- Many previously hidden or locked ship skins have been unlocked, such as cyberpunk-themed skins and Peace skins.
Pilot Pass Improvements
- Ship skins have been added to the Free and Premium Pass rewards. Skins are available at stages 1, 18, 46, and 50.
New Pilot
- A legendary pilot has been added with the unique “Last Frontier” ability, which activates a special shield. This ability will help Commanders survive longer in battle.
- The new pilot is Captain Alice Delmar, an officer of the Rising Sun Empire, renowned for her actions in the Battle for Helios Station. When the rebel fleet broke through the defenses, she initiated the deployment of the experimental “Aegis” system — an energy shield she had developed with her team of engineers. This technology not only saved the station and thousands of civilians but also forever cemented Alice’s reputation as a commander who turns hopeless battles into victories.
- At the start of the second Pilot Season, the legendary pilot will be available in the premium Pilot Pass. All Commanders will be able to try out this pilot in battle for free by receiving a special offer in the shop. This pilot’s contracts will also be available for exchange within the clan.
- In future updates, contracts for this legendary pilot will be added to Elite Crypto Cases.
New Ship
- A new special Battleship-class ship has been added. Codenamed Vulcan, the ship is distinguished by its unusual shape and a unique combination of upgradable stats. These include Penetration Damage for Ballistic modules, Laser Damage, Range of all Weapons, and others.
- When raiders switched en masse to the latest Battleship novelty and continued plundering merchant ships, the Federation decided to end the enormous losses once and for all. Together with Delta Shipyards, they began work on a secret project codenamed Vulcan. The ship’s unconventional shape proved successful during test battles. According to test reports, this engineering solution helped pilots engage at long range and improved overall aerodynamics.
- The blueprints of this ship will be available in the Black Hole, as well as as a special offer in the hangar and in one of the Arena Cups.
Coming Soon
- A Black Hole Galaxy update is planned. Blueprints on ships that can be obtained from this Galaxy, including the new Vulcan ship, will soon be added to the clan blueprint requests.
- A Crypto Case update is planned. Contracts for new pilots will be added to Standard and Elite Crypto Cases.
- Legendary pilots of this Pilot Season will soon appear in the game with unique abilities “Armor-Piercing Cutter” and “Engineered Nanobots.” Details of these abilities are currently being kept under wraps. Commanders are welcome to share their guesses about these abilities in our Discord community. Commander whose version the ability descriptions will be closest to the final version will receive a special reward from HQ. These pilots are expected to arrive in November and December.
- In one of the upcoming updates, HQ will add pilots in the Fleet Arena mode. Some extra changes to this mode are also planned based on previously collected feedback and suggestions from Commanders. We will also add pilot-related Achievements.
- A new themed skin for the Supreme is planned for Halloween. It will be significantly different from the similar holiday skins for the Kronos and Achilles ships.
- Two new Raids for the Battleship and Galactic Carrier classes are in progress. Battleship Raids are expected in October, while those for Galactic Carriers will arrive closer to the New Year holidays.
- Work is in full swing in the shipyards on a fundamentally new type of ship—one with unique integrated modules not available on other ships. These modules will be visually distinguished on the ship and can be upgraded along with the ship in the Ship Upgrades tab. HQ plans to release two such prototypes by the end of this year.
- A minor progression expansion is also planned for the end of the year. HQ is discussing the possible addition of new player levels (60+) and increasing ship and module upgrade level caps.
- And what would we do without a new ship in the Galactic Carrier class? Will Supreme really get a worthy rival in the form of a regular ship available at level 60+?! The Galactic Carrier, codenamed Paris, is already in development, according to rumors from HQ insiders…
