👨‍🚀 Greetings, Commanders!

💬 In the “In Touch With Devs” segment we tell about the ins and outs of Space Arena development. Within this segment, we answer your questions and give our feedback on the most interesting players’ game suggestions. We hope that you find the “In Touch With Devs” segment interesting and useful! If you have questions about game mechanics, you can always contact our community manager. We will pass them onto the development team and will publish the answers later!

💡 This time, we collected and answered questions regarding the modules upgrading system, Junk Launcher, penetrating damage mechanics, Anomalies event and Galaxies loot.

Question from ThunderCat: What about upgrade increase chances? Are they going to be increased for the new upgrade levels or will they stay the same? As currently upgrading from 39 to 40 their % chances are minimal. Are we expecting them to stay the same or not?

Answer: At the moment, there are no plans to increase the chances of successful upgrade of the module parameter level. The more you upgrade the module parameter, the stronger this one becomes. Thus, the upgrading of such a module parameter should be more difficult.

Question from Alexander Schechvatov: How does the Junk Launcher work? I mean, does the debris has such parameters as health, reflect, and armor? Since the laser beam does not instantly destroy the whole debris but destroys several fragments per shot, it is obvious to assume that debris has such parameters.

Answer: The debris from the Junk Launcher has its own health parameter value. Each debris has 10 health.

Question from تplayyerتUnknown: Does penetration lose it damage after cells even if the module that it penetrating don’t have armor? And if yes how much it lose per cells/modules?

Answer: Penetration damage will be reduced even after passing through a module that does not have armor value. The point is that the armor parameter does not appear in the formula, which means that the module without the armor parameter value receives more damage. Going through each module, regardless of whether it has or has no armor, the amount of damage will be reduced. The sum of penetrating damage done does not depend on the module’s health. The total amount of the penetrating damage that is reduced during the battle, depends on the original value of the Penetrating Damage parameter which the weapon module has. So, if we take as an example Quantum Riffle: the first module hit will get 100%(16) of damage (minus the flat amount of armor if the module hit has an armor), the second module hit will receive 55% of damage, and so on.

Question from Stainlessmaxx: I have a question regarding the Anomalies event. If several players have the same number of points in the end of the event, how the game will determine the winner?

Answer: In this case, the winner will be determined as follows: whoever scored the required number of points first will be listed as the winner.

Question from KingTaro: Is the loot inside the Galaxy determined when you get the Galaxy into your inventory or when you explore (open) it?

Answer: The loot from the Galaxy is determined only during its opening (exploring).

🤔 Commanders, thank you for your questions and suggestions! What topics should we cover in the next “In Touch With Devs” post? We will be glad to hear your suggestions and ideas for this segment!
