💡 This time, we collected and answered questions regarding the Hull break chance mechanic, Limit Breakers and Powerful Limit Breakers drop rates from the Iota Galaxy, description of the Bunker Shield, winstreak rewards for Commanders-newbies, Explosion Radius parameter, and the calculation of the outcomes of the battles.
Question from someone1010: what is Hull break chance?
Answer: there is a chance that your ship may explode. The rate of this chance depends on the number of modules destroyed on the ship during the battle. The more modules were destroyed, the higher rate of the explosion would be.
Question from 별사탕: have you lowered the drop rate of Limit Breakers and Powerful Limit Breakers in Iota Galaxy?
Answer: there were no such changes implemented to the game recently.
Question from Sieniak: what exactly does “reflective surface” in Bunker Shield mean? Some ballistic damage is reflected the same way as armor does for laser?
Answer: sometimes the descriptions of modules do not always accurately correspond to their features and mechanics. Speaking of the mentioned module. There is no reflect feature on it, though the shield absorbs some of the ballistic damage. On the whole, Bunker Shield functions exactly like the other in-game shield modules.
Question from someone1010: how and when and why does this popup? Is it only for new ships?
Answer: this reward is intended for the Commanders-newbies. It’s possible to earn it by doing a certain amount of wins in a row. The reward will be replaced with the usual rewards for doing winstreaks afterward.
Question from AutoMcD: if a reactor Explosion Radius parameter value is upgraded to zero, does it still cause any damage when destroyed?
Answer: the damage won’t be dealt to other modules nearby. The explosion radius calculates starting from the edge of the module. Thus, if the value of this parameter equals zero, the damage will be dealt “inwards” to the module. However, some damage will be dealt in case one of the two conditions:
- if the edge of the shield/shields extends through the center of the reactor that is about to explode;
- if there will be any Junk Launcher projectiles flying above the reactor that is about to explode.
Question from someone1010: are battles deterministic?
Answer: no. The outcome of the battles calculates directly during the battles.
