👨‍🚀 Greetings, Commanders!

🚀 A new “In Touch With Devs” issue was released! Within this segment, our team continues to answer frequently asked questions about the Space Arena. As part of the segment, we share the development process and upcoming plans for the game. We hope that this information will be helpful to you and will come in handy in planning future battles!

If you have questions about game mechanics, you can always contact our Discord community manager. We will pass them on to the development team and will publish the answers later!

It’s our 20th issue! This time we collected and answered ten questions regarding the upgrades on main and support ships, Doomsday laser, new Glossy Shiny Armor bars, restoring the in-game progress, Galaxy Coordinates, Clan Pass, and some technical features while conducting Arena battles.

Question from CptKaos: Do improvements for blueprints also affect support ships

Answer: The HQ confirms that.

Question from SR.Mad: Will there be plans for the other 2 weapon categories for a similar gun like the Doomsday Laser and will they be accompanied by defenses as the Glossy duo did?

Answer: There won’t be such weapons in the nearest game updates. Still, they may appear in other game updates.

Question from Kuznetsov: If players cant sell ship BPs, what’s the use of them once already maxed?

Answer: The ships you don’t use now may be needed in the future, so you definitely should upgrade them. For example, in the nearest game updates reworked Anomalies event will appear. To take part in the event on certain days with certain Anomalies conditions, you will need certain ship models. These ships will be required for all Commanders. Thus, the upgraded ships you rarely use will become handy.

Question from padfoot9445: what is the max reflect attainable on the new armors

Answer: The maximum value of the Reflect parameter on both modules equals 76,5%.

Question from Eowulf: if your phone breaks down how do you retrieve your account

Answer: You may contact Serg, Discord community manager. Also, it’s possible to contact technical support via sa-help@herocraft.com

Question from Bluemommba: What is the difference between a level 8 coordinate and a level 9 coordinate? Is it the number of drops per item? The type per item? How big is the difference?

Answer: Depends on the certain Galaxy Coordinates type. However, the main difference is the number of loot and its chance to drop.

Question from Razoring: What was the motive behind changing all the mk stuff to bm stuff?

Answer: The HQ can’t lay their cards on the table. The only thing we can say is that we are preparing for the big updates.

Question from Petros: Not sure how the timing works out between different platforms/regions but hypothetically if a player running v3.6 conducts an arena battle against another player using a weapon that has been buffed in v3.7, would they take the new buffed damage or the damage pre-buff? In essence, is damage dealt stored as a number or is it calculated client-side as a series of modifiers and upgrades?

Answer: Only the levels of upgrading the parameters of ships and modules placed on a ship will be taken into the account from 3.7. game version. The values themselves will be taken into the account from the current, 3.6. game version.

Question from Smart_TJ: So, how is the end-of-season rating reset calculated? Every single season certain members of my clan (myself included) lose much more ratings than certain other members, and I don’t think I’m alone in wondering why everyone isn’t reset along the same scale.

Answer: The number of ranking points that will be reset depends on the sub-league Commander reached during the end of the season. Each sub-league has its own coefficient. The higher the sub-league you reached, the more coefficient you get. Thus, the higher the sub-league you reached, the bigger number of ranking points will be reset on your account.

Question from Bluemommba: Is there a control to ensure that people don’t clan hop late in clan war season to claim clan pass rewards unlocked in multiple clans?

Answer: We do have such a control mechanism. Once the Commander claims one of the Clan Pass rewards, the game would remember this and would link this “small unboxing event” to the current clan. This means Commander who decided to join the new clan won’t be able to claim Clan Pass rewards there because of two reasons:
he had already claimed some of them in the previous clan;
he didn’t earn Clan Activity Points in the new clan to claim rewards from Clan Pass.

🤔 Commanders, thank you for your questions! What topics should we cover in the next “In Touch With Devs” issue? We will be glad to hear your suggestions and ideas for this segment!
