November 25

👨‍🚀 Greetings, Commanders!

💬 In the “In Touch With Devs” segment we tell about the ins and outs of Space Arena development. Within this segment, we answer your questions and give our feedback on the most interesting players’ game suggestions. We hope that you find the “In Touch With Devs” segment interesting and useful! If you have questions about game mechanics, you can always contact our community manager. We will pass them on to the development team and will publish the answers later!

💡 This time, we collected and answered questions regarding the Epic Engineers Challenge event, modules placing mechanics, separate “Turn off music” option, and new Commanders’ progress features. Also, the development team reviewed some of the players’ suggestions.

Question from Alexander Dadada: What happens if I will complete the last, 100th task within the Tournament of Glory event even though I have already the Phantom Mk2 ship?

Answer: In that case, Commander will have an opportunity to obtain the second Phantom Mk2 ship and place it in the preferred hangar slot.

Question from Vsevolod Ryzhenkov: Why there is no opportunity for Commanders to rotate the modules?

Answer: It is the game feature. All current modules should hold a certain amount of cells and have their own direction. Otherwise, there would be an in-game imbalance.

Question from Smithlawrence440: when does the separate “Turn off music” option will appear in the game?

Answer: Such an option won’t appear in the nearest future. The team is focused on the Clans development at the moment.

Question from frode: There seems to be a fundamental problem with class battles. It greatly favors old players over new ones, thus how can new players ever catch up? You need to win class battles in order to get parts to new ships, but if you are new and does not have these parts yet how are you gonna get them at the same rate as old players and as such catch up if you cannot win because you have no parts to get the ships you need to win?

Answer: We suggest you take part in the events, purchase chips and blueprints kits in the store, upgrade modules and ships, and also join the clan, where you can request blueprints that you need. We also consider adding new ways of earning chips and blueprints.

Suggestion from Paper ships too op smh nerf when: please add an opportunity to change your nickname once per month for free.

Answer: We do not plan to make adjustments to the current nickname change system. You can always farm the required amount of Celestium to change your current nickname.

Suggestion from Macjacobi14: Could you please move the Wing ship to the higher class or decrease the ship’s cells amount? The reason why I ask you to do it is that you can not simply win in Class Battles if you do not have the same Wing ship.

Answer: The Wing ship was conceived as one of the toughest ships in its class. Right now we do not plan to nerf it. Don’t forget that you can find Wing blueprints for both Mk1 and Mk2 versions during exploring Galaxy Coordinates.

🤔 Commanders, thank you for your questions! What topics should we cover in the next “In Touch With Devs” post? We will be glad to hear your suggestions and ideas for this segment in the comments below!
