👨🚀 Greetings, Commanders!
👨💻 It’s no secret that there’s an event on the Arena that every Commander has encountered at least once at the beginning of their journey. This event is called the Epic Engineer Challenge (EEC for short). During the event, Commanders choose one of several available ships for participation and battle against a bot opponent with a pre-made build. Opponents, along with the list of available ships for Commanders, change periodically.
Previously, the HQ shared a guide on how to complete the EEC. Much has changed in the event, so it’s time to update the guide.
General Information
The EEC event is available to every Commander who has reached at least level 5. Starting from level 5, a 9-day timer for the event will begin. During this time, you can complete the entire event and claim all rewards. In total, you need to win 117 battles. The final reward is the Phantom Mk2. For each battle completed, Commanders also receive Credits, Celestium, chips and overclocking chips, Galaxy Coordinates Epsilon, Zeta, Beta, Delta, Theta, and Iota, as well as the special ships blueprints PSS Miran Mk2, PSS EL-K Mk2, and Prophet.
To engage in one battle, Commander spends 1 energy charge. Commanders have a total of 6 energy charges. Each energy charge regenerates in 15 minutes, or it can be instantly restored for 3 Celestium each. Therefore, a Commander would need 18 Celestium to fully restore their energy.
Before each battle, Commanders can use intelligence to reveal several cells where the opponent’s modules is located. The first intelligence attempt always costs 1000 Credits. Afterward, the cost increases by 1000 Credits.
Also, Commanders may complete some of the Dailies and Weeklies when playing event battles.

Tips for Commanders
- The game automatically displays the difficulty of the battle in the opponent’s window based on your current ship and build. Difficulties include “Very Easy,” “Easily,” “Normal,” “Hard,” and “Very Hard.” When making changes to your build, pay attention to the current battle’s difficulty to calculate your chances of winning.
- The opponent on the same ship will always have a different build. Sometimes the ship will have some or all modifications, and sometimes it won’t. Consider this when creating your builds.
- By using the Age Eagle, Commanders can complete EEC Battles 1-89. Then, Commanders can switch to the Destroyer Vega and complete EEC Battles 90-117.
- Don’t rush to get rid of the Age Eagle and Destroyer Vega after completing the event. Due to their large number of slots, they can be useful to you in Fleet Battles and other game modes.
- At level 3, you will receive an offer for a Wing Mk2 with a ready-to-go build for 20 minutes. After closing the offer window, the game will suggest playing 3 trial battles. The trial ship will stay with you for 24 hours. Use these 3 trial battles to complete EEC Battle 1-12. The HQ recommends saving one of the trial battles for EEC Battle 6.
- At level 6, you will receive an offer for an Age Eagle with a pre-made setup for 24 hours. After closing the offer window, the game will suggest playing 3 trial battles. The trial ship will stay with you for 24 hours. Use these 3 trial battles to complete EEC Battle 13-89.
