Arena Economy
🔻 The HQ continues to enhance the upgrade system for both ships and modules based on Commander feedback. In this update, the ship parameter upgrade system has been enhanced. Now, Commanders are guaranteed to upgrade a selected parameter after a certain number of attempts. The number of attempts depends on the current success rate of the upgrade. This new system applies to all based and special ships.
🔻 A new galaxy has appeared in the Arena – the Black Hole! When exploring it, Commanders may discover blueprints for new special ships. Other loot includes Epsilon, Zeta, Beta, Delta, and Theta Coordinates, chips and overlocking chips, 30%, 60%, and 90% Success Units, and 1-3 Limit Breakers.
Game Modes
🔻 A new PvE mode, Raids, has been added. Commanders must complete contracts for the Trade Consortium to protect a Harvester, a cargo ship. The goal is to clear as many asteroid clusters as possible so that the Harvester can mine Wirilum – a type an ore needed to upgrade provided modules, repair fleet ships, and change their builds.
The Raid begins with selecting ships to take on the mission. The Trade Consortium sets specific conditions, limiting the maximum ship class allowed. Duplicate ships can’t be used for the event. Once the Raid starts, your fleet cannot be changed, though Mercenaries can be hired during the Raid using Celestium. Ships in this mode lose modules destroyed in battle. Don’t worry: these can be repaired anytime with Celestium and Wirilum at Engineering Stations.
Commanders are given modules for ships during the contract, which are shown in the Raid main menu. These can be upgraded using collected Virilum. The module upgrade list updates after each asteroid cluster is cleared and can also be refreshed with Wirilum.
Commanders can track progress on a special event map. There are four types of asteroid clusters:
- Wirilum Deposits: you receive Wirilum and several Raid rewards after you complete it.
- Anomaly: you receive Wirilum, several Raid rewards, and an Anomaly after you complete it. Anomalies are unique modifiers that affect your ships’ and modules’ parameters. You can see them in the special Anomalies section. Anomaly modifiers can be rerolled using Celestium at any moment.
- Engineering Station: you receive Wirilum, several Raid rewards, and access to the Station after you complete it. Here Commanders can repair ships, edit builds on their ships, as well as on the Mercenaries ships using Wirilum.
- Boss and Boss Fleet: you receive Wirilum and several Raid rewards after you complete it. Defeating these ships will be quite challenging.
Among Raid rewards are Credits, chips and overlocking chips, success boosters, Galaxies, Limit Breakers and Powerful Limit Breakers, as well as blueprints for new special ships. The reward list may differ for each Raid separately.
Commanders can finish the Raid at any moment, completing the contract and collecting rewards for the completed stages. You won’t receive rewards from stages that you didn’t complete in that case.
The first Raid is coming soon. Stay tuned on our Discord server!
